It's been an interesting past year - 2011 has finally come to a close and there are certainly things and people in my life that I will miss greatly. But through it all - good and bad - I hope that I have learned something and have become a better man for having had the experience. I'm grateful for my gift of music - a "Gift" that provides moments of extreme joy, passion, love and happiness. The late CBS News Reporter Charles Kuralt once remarked "Do what you love until you don’t love it anymore, and you’ll be happy.” So in 2012 I hope each of you find happiness and love. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at home in Nashville for Nashville Producer/Songwriter Eddie Reasoner. Recently returning from Los Angeles Reasoner was greeted by many friends and industry moguls while attending Holiday gatherings to celebrate the Season. It was great to see "Dave Rowland of DAVE AND SUGAR as well as Richard Young founding member of the KENTUCKY HEADHUNTERS and Janie Fricke and Deborah Allen. "I' haven't seen such a gathering of Top Ten Recording Artists and Grammy Winners since the Grammy's" said Reasoner. I'm certainly looking forward to getting together with my music friends more often in the New Year.

The highest honor the State of Tennessee can bestow upon an individual is the commissioned title of "Colonel - Aide de Camp,Governor's Staff". Recently Tennessee GovernorPhil Bredesen awarded this coveted and prestigious title to Nashville SongwriterEddie Reasoner whereby formally recognizing his accomplishments to the State of Tennessee as well as throughout the world in music, art, film and entertainment. Those who receive this honorable rank (normally elected officials) are recorded by the Secretary of State to stand proudly with those who have been fully commissioned into the State Militia and Tennessee National Guard. This title is considered equivalent to an actual military commission of "Full Colonel" and is the second "Aide de Camp" commission awarded by the State of Tennessee honoring Mr. Reasoner -the first being presented by previous Tennessee Governor Lamar Alexander. We congratulate and salute you Colonel Robert E. (Eddie) Reasoner.

NASHVILLE, TN 06/21/09 - Legendary professional BASS anglers and country music stars recently teamed up in Nashville to support the second annual Porter Wagoner Memorial Artists and Anglers Fishing Tournament sponsored by Gary Yamamoto, BASS PRO SHOPS and Texas Road House. The event was held on J. Percy Preist Lake as part of the CMA Country Music Festival and featured many legends of BASS Fishing as well as country music stars, television personalities and songwriters.

Southern California theatre goers were treated to a special evening of entertainment when Marymount College presented it's Spring concert series last Thursday evening at the Norris Performing Arts Center in Palos Verdes. Hosted by two time Emmy Award Winner Jack Allocco (The Bold and the Beautiful). The event showcased some of the colleges' up and coming talents, however, the highlight of the evening was when Allocco surprised the audience with his special guest Nashville recording artist and songwriter Eddie Reasoner
